About Abstract Painting Climate Change I 

This on trend abstract painting uses an array of different block shapes that bend and twist to form a solid mass on the canvas. With a dominant use of cool colour tones in shades of blue and aqua this sets the precident for our painting of an abstract landscape of our planet.

With the use of mixed media we have used yellow oils to nominate the heat of the sun and black inks that run through the canvas as a form of destruction. The main body of the painting is the royal blue which signals the rising oceans set amongst the light blue melting ice caps and grey and white backdrop of our polar regions.

With many recent concerns from the youth of today about the affects we are having on the planet, we have painted this series to highlight the importance of these voices so that their message may continue to be debated. A series that together not only looks incredible on a wall together but has a sense of meaning.
