About Linear Noir III

This modern artwork is a beautiful example of a more formal artwork.  With a striking black canvas providing the perfect backdrop for a contemporary abstract face. A cousin series to the Linear Collection, Linear Noir follows on with simplistic continual linear lines to tell a story.

Set inside a black frame, this original drawing of white on black, shows a face staring back at the viewer. What is distinct about this collectors piece though is the prominence of one eye only. A signature mark of the series and a deliberate design trait to enhance its importance.

Our eyes often provide a strong front, a volt of secrecy, a mask to hide our real truth. Yet if we delve a little deeper and truly look through the eye surface, the truth is there.  Afterall the eye is the window to the soul.

This series is a reminder to us all that despite a strong exterior, we never know what is going on behind ones eye. So just be kind! Someones life may be very different from your perception. The reality is many of us hold secrets. Many of us hold burden and pain. Many of us are struggling with the daily pressures of life experiencing depression anxiety and other mental health conditions.

Whatever your secret, find your truth in the face that connects best to you.

And if you feel bold and game share your secret on the back of the frame and know that whatever you are going through, you will be okay. Each time you walk past know that you have acknowledged your truth.
