About Delicious Delight – Abstract Painting Colourful Black Canvas 

Sometimes in life you just need to embrace the momentum and see where you end up.

As an artist not all works go to plan. With a new year of 2023 I wanted to embark on a new series that was figurative but of a more abstract nature with smaller repetative colour that melded a little more. However as I approached the beginning of the painting the motion was not forming the right figurative shape. So instead I chose to embrace where the painting was taking me and move forward. To let the story naturally take shape in a traditional abstract format. Afterall as in life sometimes you need to pivot and change direction, but always continue to move forward.

In the end the result was a delicious delight of colourful motion moving in different directions. A perfect reminder to follow the momentum of life and embrace change, new ideas, new starts and fresh inventions.

Can’t wait to get your Sarah Jane Artwork on the wall? The good news is your artwork comes ready to hang with two D rings and a wire fixed to the back of the stretched canvas.

However, I recommend hanging the painting on the two D rings only where possible. This will reduce the stress on the painting. Oh and remember to always use at least two fixtures in the wall.
