Now if you are new to my work you may not realise that each year I do a series. 2016 was the first year I kicked off my art career and in that year I was still finding myself. What became evident from that year was that my work contained a lot of happiness and vibrant colours.

So I’m heading back in time and adding a few more colourful pieces to my portfolio in a traditional abstract format and this is one of those newbies.

Colour Joy is all about the happiness that nature brings with its enthusiastic bright colours. It doesn’t take long before you see nature at work. As flowers embelish our gardens and birds sing in our trees, we are surrounded by their beautiful magnificence of designer colours.   Nature is swimming with fun effervescent life.

The colour in nature though is more than just beauty to the eye, it has a deeper importance. It allows for life as we know it to carry on. Its the colours that attract a mate in our animal kingdom. Its colour that attracts insects to flowers promoting pollination. Without vibrant colour, life would be dull and boring.

Installation

Can’t wait to get your Sarah Jane Artwork on the wall? The good news is your artwork comes ready to hang with two D rings and a wire fixed to the back of the stretched canvas.

However, I recommend hanging the painting on the two D rings only where possible. This will reduce the stress on the painting. Oh and remember to always use at least two fixtures in the wall.
