About Treading Water I

Have you ever felt that you’re not getting anywhere in life. That you’re going nowhere despite giving so much time and energy towards what you may be pursuing.  You’re not travelling backwards but you’re also not going forward and you’re feeling all consumed. You’re stuck in a holding pattern treading water.

This huge contemporary painting in watery blue and green shades represents the frustrating emotion of wanting to give up but knowing you can’t. Surrounded by the pale watery blue shades that represent water. The outlook looks identical no matter which way you turn. The endless bound of repetition, you look towards them in desperation to take on their calm energy telling yourself to hang in there.

You know the cycle will break and a direction will unfold but it is emotionally exhausting and you have to draw from every ounce of positivity within you to keep treading water. After all every struggle brings us closer to our true selves.

Installation

Can’t wait to get your Sarah Jane Artwork on the wall? The good news is your artwork comes ready to hang with two D rings and a wire fixed to the back of the stretched canvas.

However, I recommend hanging the painting on the two D rings only where possible. This will reduce the stress on the painting. Oh and remember to always use at least two fixtures in the wall.
