White is used on her body to highlight her figure whilst a darker background of blues, purples and black add a sense of intrigue and mystery to this woman as it appears she is hiding in the darkness. A hint of pink has been used just to soften the painting and feminises it a little. A gorgeous mix of colours that combine beautifully to provide a gentle, peaceful artwork for the eye.
As for where the inspiration for this painting came from? Well this is one that just came out of the blue with no idea or concept behind the painting prior to adding the paint on the blank canvas. The woman just appeared with no sub conscious or conscious thought. There was no rhyme or reason just the end result of a mysterious woman standing in front of me facing me as if she wanted to tell me her story but she was still at arms reach from me. So with no name, no known story, it only seemed fitting to give her the Title “Anonymous.”
This trendy painting has been framed with an oak border that has a black stain and stand at 203cm tall and 126cm wide, so a real statement piece.
