Yes it is that time of year where Adelaide has become very, very cold and very, very quiet. But fear not my fellow Adelaidians, we have some great news!
The month of August is approaching and it will soon be time for another Festival, where we can all come out of hibernation. Yes, the countdown for the SALA Festival 2017 is on. An entire month, where Artists from all over the country brighten up the streets, restaurants, bars and cafes with their amazingly talented artworks.
Being a Modern Abstract Artist, I love August. Heading to the different venues, relaxing, taking in a cheeky wine and cheese platter then heading off somewhere else. But the main venue I’ll be checking out this year is Nook Nosh Wine Bar at 111 Unley Rd Unley. The gorgeous owners “Lisa and Chris” have been kind enough to have me for a second year running and this year I will be exhibiting, “Something Just A Bit Different”.
So what can you expect from the Sarah Jane Art Exhibition “Something Just A Bit Different?” Well I have a motto, life is too short to be mediocre. So for me, that means not being ordinary, and that ideology translates through in my Sarah Jane Paintings and Prints. I love creating modern abstract artworks that intrigue the mind and provide a talking point, bringing something just a bit different to the table.
So if you are after some interesting art for your walls or just want a fun vibrant night out, come on down to Unley Road and check out my exhibition. The good news this year is that we have catered not only for the Art Collectors with the original paintings that have a higher price tag, but we have added a range of very affordable, smaller framed prints, “Cos Every Home Needs A Sarah Jane.”
